Welcome to this training, which is focused on effectively understanding the Scrum roles in-depth, namely the Product Owner, Scrum master, and the development team, and going deeper into the practical aspects of the day-to-day functions.It will help you learn from my experience and effectively run your product development. In this training, we will first learn the product owner role and the deeper aspects like Product Vision, Product Roadmap, Requirements Management, and finally, how the product owner should interact with the team and the mindset he needs to have while managing the product development.Next, we go deeper into learning the Scrum master role. It is the most misunderstood role, and the Scrum master is only thought of as someone who schedules meetings, takes notes, and communicates status updates. We will see his background role of Servant leadership, creating a high-performing team, his leadership, coaching, support, and creating an environment of trust, which makes people feel safe.Next, we will go deeper into the development team role, the self-organization, the working agreement, the mindset change from being responsible for the team goal, and the behaviors expected. In this section, we will learn the deeper aspects of the product owner role, like strategic and team-oriented responsibilities, Requirements Management, backlog prioritization techniques, and behavioral mindset. A product owner has 2 major areas of responsibility. One is strategic and the other is Scrum team-oriented. First is the industry-focused strategic aspects of the product. In my experience, the Scrum Master is the most misunderstood role in Scrum, because teams often think of it as a person who has no significant role to play in Scrum and just schedules meetings, takes notes, books conference rooms, and simply interferes in all meetings.
