Credit Cards: Good or Evil?

This course will help you learn all about credit cards.  You will learn about the different types of credit cards and which ones would most benefit you.   Terms such as finance charges, grace periods, statement balances, and current balances will be explained in easy-to-understand terms.  This class will explain how you can use credit cards for free, how credit card companies make money, as well as how you can apply for a credit card and what you need to know before applying for one.  You will learn how to increase your credit score and why this is so important.  This course will teach you what things impact your credit score, the categories and range of credit scores, and where to find your credit score.  It will share with you the three ways you can use credit cards and when and why you might want to use them.  You will even learn how you can use credit cards to pay off debt.  This class is really good for ages 16 and up.  Young people need to know how their credit works before they jump in.  Others may be afraid of using credit cards or perhaps have poor or fair credit and been rejected by a credit card company.  Still others may have good to excellent credit but do not know how to use that to their advantage.  This class will help you in whatever stage of dealing with credit cards that you are in.
