Functional Programming with Ramda

About this course

This course introduces the main concepts and patterns of functional programming. I use the javascript Ramda library to explore to do this. The course is in two halves each with it's own assignment. At the end of the course you will Understand how to write javascript in a functional styleKnow what pure functions are and how to create themKnow the main principles underpinning functional programming Solved real coding problems in a functional style The course is labeled 'intermediate' as it assumes some comfort with the command line, the notion of writing tests for code, and some familiarity with Javascript. However, if you are beginning to learn to code, or new to Javascript I'm confident you'll be able to follow along with no problem.
