The diversity and complexity of the problems to which mathematics can serve as part of the solution call for the mastery of basic mathematical theories and techniques as well as the ability to independently learn and apply skills in other areas as needed. The goal of this program is to prepare students for their future careers.
For this master's programme you need a subject-specific undergraduate degree (minimum 6 semesters/180 ECTS-Credits) or an equivalent degree.
The bachelor's final grade must be GOOD or higher (2.5 German and US systems).
Knowledge of a higher programming language is recommended.
