In this course, you’ll build practical understanding of the core service categories tested in Tech Essentials—so you can answer questions confidently instead of memorizing terms.We start with the foundation: how Huawei Cloud is organized (regions, availability zones, and the logic behind high availability). Then we move into the services you’ll see repeatedly in the exam. On the compute side, you’ll understand Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) concepts, scaling logic, and how load balancing works with Elastic Load Balance (ELB). For storage, you’ll learn when to choose Object Storage Service (OBS) vs Elastic Volume Service (EVS), and the typical patterns for backups and lifecycle optimization.Networking is covered in a structured way: VPC, subnets, route tables, EIPs, NAT, and connectivity basics (VPN/Direct Connect concepts) including CIDR planning to avoid conflicts. Security follows the shared responsibility model with Identity and Access Management (IAM), AK/SK usage for APIs, and auditing concepts via Cloud Trace Service (CTS).
