Network Foundations & Physical Layer
About this course
This course launches with the foundational networking concepts and physical layer technologies that underpin all network communications. Covering approximately 4 hours of expert instruction across networking fundamentals, the OSI and TCP/IP models, cabling standards, Ethernet, and structured cabling, learners build the conceptual and physical foundation for all subsequent networking studies. Learners benefit by understanding how data flows through networks, how physical media and connectors are selected and installed, and how to troubleshoot cabling problems. online labs reinforce physical installation and cable identification tasks. By the end of this course, learners will be able to describe network models, identify and install network media, and apply structured cabling standards to real-world installations.
