The course focuses on building digital skills with small demonstrations and learning objects in the form of videos. It also emphasizes on making you acquainted with constructivist teaching-learning methods. The ultimate objective is to empower you to create an engaging learning experience for the students using technology.The course structure comprises the TEN roles of a teacher in the 21st Century. Each role begins with the introduction of the role stating the kind of skills is required to make you ready for the role.You are then exposed to the core skills targeting a particular role. During the learning, you will be made observant with few videos which have some situations illustrated in the video. You have to analyze the situation and answer the thought-provoking questions. This is to make you aware of how technical skills can be applied in teaching in a constructive way.You are also instructed with the actual application of the skills in the form of Do It Yourself.You are often prompted to apply and practice the learned skills in a real environment.This course enables you to use technology in your professional life in various ways such as organization, learning, and better yet teaching more effectively!
